I began having an interest in investment banking during my sophomore year of college when I was paired up with a mentor who was a Director at a large bulge bracket investment bank. The role of analyst excited me, but I was afraid to pursue it because I knew that one of the key skills that an analyst needed was financial modeling and valuation which I didn’t have at that time. I took the intensive financial modeling and valuation training course at the Institute. The instructor helped me understand the concepts many of which were new to me and the materials were in-depth. He created a welcoming community in the class where any student could ask any questions and made sure that each student understood the topics.

The instructor would spare extra time for students if they needed more help and had time outside the class to meet us in small groups or individually. I was able to do many mock interviews and got constructive criticism and excellent feedback on how to improve both my technical knowledge and understanding of the industry. I was able to secure offers with two large investment banks in New York.

Wall Street Global Institute and their instructors changed my life. When I first enrolled in the program, I was pretty lost trying to decide amongst several career paths. But they evaluated my interests and personality and laid out a career plan for me. The financial modeling and valuation classes enabled me to understand the models built by various finance professionals and the work they did on a day-to-day basis and helped me immensely in the technical interviews with banks. After meeting with them throughout the year, I had developed a focused networking strategy as well as an excellent cover letter and resume.

They always provided me with practical, real-life advice and technical skills that no one gave me previously. The advice and skills I learned have been so powerful that I secured a position with Morgan Stanley as an Investment Banking Summer Analyst in New York. I would recommend the program to anybody that is truly ready to work hard and pursue their dream position in finance.

I discovered the Wall Street Global Institute as a sophomore after getting interested in Investment Banking and Sales and Trading. The instructor was able to teach and provide a thorough explanation of all the financial models and concepts which have stuck with me since. In addition to this, the instructor and the Institute was able to expose me to all the programs and opportunities available to me in the field of Investment Banking and Sales and Trading.

In the program, I was also able to interact and build relationships with other motivated students interested in IB from various schools such as Princeton, Baruch, and NYU as well as current investment bankers and traders who had been sponsored by their firms to take the program. I got interviews with a number of banks and have accepted an offer to join Wells Fargo in their Equity Sales and Trading Summer Analyst Program in New York.

One of the best investments that I have made is taking the financial modeling and valuation program with the Wall Street Global Institute. The instructors gave me all the tools to succeed in the finance industry and were some of the best professors that I have ever had. Not only I learned financial valuation models and its concepts, but they helped me to focus on the right career path for me. I had graduated from school, and the Institute helped me identify my dream job, what I needed to be successful, networking strategy, prepare for interviews, and made a three-year plan for me.

Within two months of taking the course and their help, I have been able to land interviews with BlackRock, Bloomberg, and Natixis. So far, I have two offers from BlackRock and Bloomberg and will be joining BlackRock. Thank you for all your support and guidance besides the financial modeling and valuation skills I have learned from you. I would not have these offers if I had not taken the program and hope other students and professionals can also get an opportunity to work with the Institute.

I took the Wall Street Global Institute financial modeling and valuation training program. The course helped me understand the capital raising process, mergers and acquisitions, valuation of companies as well as how to prepare pitch materials.

I really enjoyed the networking opportunity with other investment bankers and finance professionals who took the course to enhance the skills and made valuable contacts. I am using the skills learnt at the course in my prior position in business development and working as a consultant now with IQVIA. The instructors and the Institute made sure that every professional who attended the course got all their questions answered and the materials given to us were fantastic and I keep referring to them on a regular basis.
